An Introduction to Google Panda
Google’s Panda update was introduced to its search filter in April 2011. This change was added to target low quality websites or websites that seemed thin with content. The algorithm succeeds in preventing websites with poor content from manipulating its rankings and working their way to the top of the search results using techniques onsite that are frowned upon by Google. It is continuously updated which allows honest websites to correct errors and regain ranking positions.
